How To Get Along – Libra and Taurus

Libra is Air and Cardinal. Taurus is Earth and Fixed. However, they are both ruled by Venus. This brings a pleasantness and warmth to both of these signs. Libra is a much stronger and more firm opponent than many signs will admit. They are the only inanimate signs of the zodiac. This should send a message. They are coldly unconquerable from an argumentative point of view. Taurus, using their power and stability brings sound conservative actions to this couple. Libra likes this and sees the Bull as reasonable. And the Taurus does not need to take on Libra at every turn.

Libra and intellect go hand in hand. Libra is about balancing it all. The Art of Love is held by Librans as a thing to master. Playboy, or playgirl, they can see mastery in so many of life’s challenges. They are about getting their way. Not so much to just get their way, but because their way is the reasonable, well thought out, measured way. Librans are restless down to their toes.

Venus’s ruler ship of both of these signs, declares that a positive spin will always be a part of the public relations campaign for this couple or partnership. Taurus is about making cozy, making comfortable, making peaceful and rich. Libra loves to try all of these things and analyze why coziness and comfort should be the reasonable predominant rule. Taurus’s existential comfort and Libra’s intellectual balance will create a picture of optimistic realization. This may not be the inner reality, all kinds of turmoil could be cooking, but the outer image should be well taken care of.

How To Get Along – Pisces and Gemini

Pisces is a Mutable Water Sign. Gemini is Mutable Air. Then think about the fact that both of you have this “two ness”. Pisces is a fish going in two different directions. Gemini is at least two people waking up each morning. It should give you a sense of comfort, while you whistle in the dark. Plainly, the biggest difference is that one of these abides in the stratosphere, and the other can be comfy in the deepest oceanic depths. Willingness becomes then, the key word. How much do they care for each other?

Their oppositional elements can definitely go together, but they both have to be willing to get an “E Ticket” to the others’ territory. If Gemini demands selfishly to insist on not entering emotional quandaries, Neptunian insights, psychic discussions and topics about the subconscious, then maybe the Twin is not ready for the Fish. Conversely, the Fish would have to let the water stream from its gills and agree to go on an all-things-are possible trip soaring through the clouds. If the Fish is too reluctant to entertain this possibly uncomfortable aspect to the fast moving Gemini, then maybe it’s not for the best.

Piscean mystery has to do with the fact that they are both super wise, and somewhat out of it.

It’s as if they are given a motion picture insight into everyone they meet, but self-understanding sometimes eludes them. Like a camera man who forgets he is a camera man and over identifies with the film, the Fish can forget. And sometimes, it’s a deep forgetfulness. There is potential beauty here though. How To Get Along – Taurus and Aquarius

Aquarius is Air and Fixed. Taurus is Earth and Fixed. Their shared fixity though, is not much help in predicting that these two would easily match up. This is one of those “transportation and transformation” couplings that I like to name that way for easy comprehension. If two people fall in love, they can make it. That is the human species. However some couplings and unions will only succeed, or best succeed, if they are “transported to a new place, and transformed in a new way.” Through growth, self-awareness and a desire to change themselves, people can make any union work.

Aquarius is not easily understood. Even by themselves. They can be ingenious; and they can be downright backward and eccentric. Taurus is born for normalcy and observing the Water Bearer’s statements and behavior could be a major chore. Aquarians contradict themselves happily.

They see it as one of their more interesting qualities. Because they see so much more than the rest of us, they see that self-contradiction and ambiguous global statements are the only way they can get across their grand visions. Taurus will look at this performance and still not see anything more than the ambiguity that is quite plain to them. Aquarius will not admire Taurus for this simplicity; but they could see in Taurus that the simplicity and hard working quality of Taurus could be a benefit to the Water Bearer.

Wild Uranus rules the Aquarian mind. This can make the Aquarian truly a fascinating person. If you take them as you have them, the Aquarian is not subversive or perverse, they are just who they are, in all of their complex intelligence and intuitiveness. They do seem to know much that they have not formally learned. Taurus could be positively entertained and lifted up by their Aquarian friend. Charming, warm Taurus, could stand back and let the Aquarian be itself, and then go home together, pleased that the couple somehow came off as both interesting and stable. Quite a feat.

Romance Recommendation:

Aquarius is not your most touchy feely sign. Some are actually averse to real vigorous physical contact. Taurus however, understands the physicality of romance in a most basic way. It is quite simple to romantic and sensual Taurus that romance was made like all the other things that it can touch and see – eating, sleeping and moving on this beautiful planet. For these two matching up is going to happen at several levels. That is not negative. It is actually positive; but it will take consciousness and surrender. Surrender is a powerful word. It might be the key here.

Conflict for this match is almost a certainty. Not physical beatings, more like serpentine pathways of human talk and intuition. Sagittarius – Capricorn

Sagittarius is Fire and Mutable. Capricorn is Earth and Cardinal. Capricorn’s actions and plans supply the Archer with substance for its boundless hopeful moving over the planet. If these two have found an attraction and a longing for one another, the energy that comes from that new union has a kind of spark of start for a new thing. Maybe at this moment, they are not in a business together, but the energy and power that gets created in the synergy of their union portends that something great could happen here.

How could Sagittarius benefit from a Capricorn? Quite specifically, they love the best things that the Goat has to offer. It is easy to say they are no nonsense, but put more accurately, they are all sense. As you watch a Goat up in the Rockies, (if you ever get the chance, or catch a video), they scale those heights with short leaps, and then cover lots of air and land perfectly on a place no bigger than a game board. This sure footedness seems almost magical, and for lots of creatures it would absolutely be. But they pull off this act of being Capricorns every day.

If you are a Taurus or Cancer, you will be impressed with their surefootedness, but if you are a Sagittarian, you will be amazed and jealous of this ability. The Scorpio and the Scorpio

Scorpio is Water and Fixed. Since Scorpio is highly complex and full of inwardly felt power, and since they tend to embody what other astrologers call eagles and doves; they are, how would one say it? Complicated. Immediately, one would suggest that they find out about their individual charts. Scorpio can vary greatly and the two of these together might actually make each other different. As with other signs that are bound up with the same sign, they should ask just how attracted they are to each other. Did they get together because they both said: “Wow, you are a Scorpio? I am a Scorpio too!” That can lead down wonderful roads of self exploration and wild curiosity. “How are we alike?” “How are we not alike?” “Why do you think we are not alike in this way?” All the time, as they are comparing notes, they are both aware of each others’ unstated and unleashed sense of inner power.

It is as if they are both Clark Kent, and they both know they are both Clark Kent. This could almost be maddening if they let it work on them. Their memory and their great ability to seek payment from someone who has harmed them make them foes that you would not want to have. Again the issue becomes, how much will they turn these qualities on each other? How much will they forgive and forget each other? How much will they hold “forgive and forget” over each other?

While you are asking yourselves these questions you should also see Pluto’s power in the both of you. The image of the Phoenix is a strong one. It means you have the power not only to create, but the power to create from burnt ashes. That is quite an image, and it is one that should animate you to do great things together. Beginning something, taking over something that was about to fail. Taking something that is almost at a crescendo and making it culminate in a wonderful climax. Scorpio and Scorpio together would have the ability to marshal their forces, creative, forceful, planning and executing goals, all of these things are possible when two Scorpios are pushing their weight forward and making new things happen, or regenerating old things.

The big issue will be how unified and allied their spirits are. Potential is a big word. And that’s what this reading is about – potential. How To Get Along - The Scales and The Scales

Libra and Libra

Libra is an Air Sign. Libra is Cardinal. Since we are matching up these two sets of Scales, we have to immediately address the cardinality. Cardinal means action. Libra has a soundness of mind and a methodical approach, but it is “alive” in action. They prize order and beauty and balance. The Scales of Justice personify the Libran ideal of law and order and peace and balance. They are seeking knowledge for more informed opinions. However, they know that knowledge is not inherent; but rather the world is full of “facts” and they are out to get them. They don’t think they invented it, conjured it up or mystically obtained it through channeling. Consequently, as they move through life, they get smarter, but do not develop an “all knowing” or “super mystic” attitude that many sun signs do. They remain Libran. As with all signs they have the “deficits of their virtues”. The deficit of the Libran is that their belief in perfect balance leads them to an internal state of disquietude. Well mannered and loving to be at ease, they are nevertheless always just a little bit troubled. When they are more than a little bit troubled, their scales fly up and down in the winds of change and flux. Librans don’t like flux. If you will notice, that is the state that the world tends to always be in.

Two Librans together could be about the best combination of all the mutual matches.

They understand who they are. They both know that in the interior they are disquieted. They both know they don’t do well when things get crazy. Since they both have this awareness of who the other is, this will help. They can say: “At least my partner is balanced.” At this point, I always recommend that mutual signs have their charts done. The Scorpion and the Archer (the Centaur)

This series on Astro Compatibility will cover all of the potential matchups in the Zodiac. We will continue this series thinking about and commenting on Sagittarius and Scorpio.

Sagittarius and Scorpio

Sagittarius is Fire and Mutable. Scorpio is Water and Fixed. Scorpio is legendary in the zodiac for being supremely intense and keeping its own counsel. It keeps a placid exterior and an active and suspicious mind. That famous phrase, “I only trust me and thee, and I am not sure of thee!” applies to Scorpio. Many astrologers like to refer to the Eagle or the Dove in describing subtypes of Scorpio. Whether valid or not, it does go toward the multiplicity of forces that are alive in the Scorpion. From Ghandi to Patton, you have your choice as to what you would consider the master quality of the Scorpion. But, if you want to get simple instead of complex, think of the stinger. If you have picture of coming upon a scorpion in the desert, you feel immediately that it means business with its stinger held up, ready to strike. Sagittarius is full of “beaucoup” honesty.

They hand out unsolicited advice like it is a government program. They deliver left handed compliments and abrupt insults with a smile. If a Scorpio and a Centaur develop a relationship, the Scorpio will soon have to take an onslaught of arrows, most of which are just happy, merry shots of humor, some serious comments on style or manner, and maybe one good blow to the ego. Scorpio will have to immediately keep that placid look and pretend not to be bothered. But, oh will they remember. There is the creativity and dynamism of the big plan coming together. Yielding sometimes is the most creative act a person can do. There is great transformative power in yielding. Who will yield? To what degree? What is yielding’s best outcome?

Sagittarius and Scorpio - Positive Postulate:

What a pair – A Scorpion and a Centaur. Talk from one. Intense looks from the other. This couple, partnership, pair, mates, can make an impressive image going at what they want and are after. The Centaur feels it is special. The Centaur will gleam proudly even in the sunlight of disappointment. Scorpio does not adapt without a big reason. But together, maybe a plan comes together. Keeping their self esteem, but allowing for the other, a new team emerges.

Sagittarius and Scorpio- Romance Recommendation:

The Centaur emerges from the wood with a gleam in its eye. The Scorpion can look all ready for business right now. In order to merge in romantic wonder, they will make the most of what they are, and give up just a bit of what they are. In this lies adaptation and growth.
Conflict Quotient: A real down and out battle with these two would not be recommended. The Centaur would make lots of moves and be grinning as it yelled. The Scorpio would do vigorous battle if it felt it were forced to. The merging of these two would suggest a super moderation of their style in combat.

Sagittarius and Scorpio- Peace Parlay:

Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: “Can we be bored together over the long term?” The Scorpion and the Sagittarian could benefit from the placidity that comes in a boring time. It would probably actually be a sign that they are getting along well.
